On the news front, according to the Science and Technology Daily, China Telecom Corporation recently successfully completed the world's first super-long-distance air-core optical fiber shared fiber transmission experiment, setting a new record in this field and marking a milestone breakthrough in China's quantum-classical shared fiber transmission technology. The experiment achieved four core indicators at the global leading level. Zhongtai released a research report stating that the explosive demand for AI computing power in 2025 is the core increment driving the demand for optical fibers. To ensure the training efficiency of super-large AI clusters, network interconnection within and between data centers is accelerating towards 800G/1.6T evolution. Air-core optical fiber is considered the ultimate solution for communication within AI clusters and ultra-low latency DCI. UBS stated that air-core optical fiber has long-term development potential, and it is expected that the technology will gradually mature and make significant revenue contributions in the next 2-3 years, serving as a strategic growth lever for YOFC, but its short-term impact on profitability is still limited.
