On November 19, the National Energy Administration released data on electric vehicle charging facilities nationwide in October. According to the data from the national charging facility monitoring service platform, as of the end of October 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure (guns) in China reached 18.645 million, an increase of 54.0% year-on-year. Among them, there were 4.533 million public charging facilities (guns), an increase of 39.5% year-on-year, with a total rated power of 203 million kilowatts and an average power of approximately 44.69 kilowatts; there were 14.112 million private charging facilities (guns), an increase of 59.4% year-on-year, with an installed electricity capacity of 1.24 billion kilovolt-amperes.
