Ant International officially announced its membership in the architecture working group of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Ensemble project, continuing to promote the development of the tokenization ecosystem in Hong Kong. As a member of the working group, Ant International will deepen its cooperation with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and industry-leading partners, actively participate in setting industry standards, and accelerate the development of the tokenization market.
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority recently announced the launch of EnsembleTX, marking a new phase for the Ensemble project as it transitions from the sandbox experimentation phase to real market application in a pilot environment. Through the EnsembleTX platform, Ant International will continue to expand its collaboration with banks and other participating companies to promote the practical application of tokenization technology in real-time global liquidity management. Recently, Ant International successfully completed the first cross-bank Hong Kong dollar transfer through the EnsembleTX platform, marking the first real-time transaction on the platform.
Since participating in the Ensemble project sandbox in 2024, Ant International has been working with Standard Chartered Bank and HSBC Bank to promote two major use cases under the theme of "liquidity management" through its next-generation corporate treasury and asset management platform, Whale.
