In terms of news, China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation recently released its performance report, showing that it achieved operating income of 39.862 billion yuan in the first three quarters, a decrease of 7.34% year-on-year; and net profit attributable to shareholders of 3.052 billion yuan, a decrease of 22.13% year-on-year. Correspondingly, in the third quarter, the revenue was 11.711 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.38% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders was 452 million yuan, a decrease of 28.94% year-on-year. Zhongjin (China International Capital Corporation) expressed that the performance was below expectations, mainly due to exchange gains and losses as well as disturbances in minority shareholder interests. It is worth noting that on November 18, Hainan's free trade port officially started a 30-day countdown before the island was sealed off. Founder pointed out that it is recommended to pay attention to the duty-free sales situation in Hainan in the fourth quarter of the year 2025. If it continues to improve, China Duty Free or Midway Duty Free may reach a turning point in their operations. They maintain a neutral to optimistic outlook on the performance expectations for the year 2026.
