State Post Bureau: The postal industry's business revenue reached 156.42 billion yuan in October, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%.

In October, the business revenue of the postal industry (excluding the direct operating revenue of postal savings banks) reached 1564.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Among them, the revenue of express delivery services reached 1316.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%.
On November 18th, the State Post Bureau released the operating conditions of the postal industry in October 2025. In October, the business revenue of the postal industry (excluding the direct business revenue of postal savings banks) reached 156.42 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue of express delivery services reached 131.67 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%. In October, the volume of postal services in the postal industry reached 18.99 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 6.5%. Among them, the volume of express delivery services reached 17.6 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. From January to October, the business revenue of the postal industry accumulated to 1.47 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.7% year-on-year. Among them, the revenue of express delivery services accumulated to 1.217 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.5% year-on-year. From January to October, the volume of postal services in the postal industry accumulated to 177.25 billion pieces, an increase of 14.0% year-on-year. Among them, the volume of express delivery services accumulated to 162.68 billion pieces, an increase of 16.1% year-on-year. From January to October, the volume of same-city express delivery services accumulated to 13.14 billion pieces, an increase of 3.0% year-on-year; the volume of intercity express delivery services accumulated to 146.12 billion pieces, an increase of 17.6% year-on-year; and the volume of international/Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan express delivery services accumulated to 3.41 billion pieces, an increase of 12.2% year-on-year. From January to October, the proportions of same-city, intercity, and international/Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan express delivery services in the total express delivery volume were 8.1%, 89.8%, and 2.1% respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of same-city express delivery volume decreased by 1.0 percentage points, the proportion of intercity express delivery volume increased by 1.1 percentage points, and the proportion of international/Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan express delivery volume decreased by 0.1 percentage points. From January to October, the proportions of express delivery service revenue in the eastern, central, and western regions were 73.8%, 15.6%, and 10.6% respectively, and the proportions of the volume of express delivery services were 70.9%, 19.7%, and 9.4% respectively. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of express delivery service revenue in the eastern region decreased by 0.9 percentage points, and the proportion of the volume of express delivery services decreased by 1.7 percentage points; the proportion of express delivery service revenue in the central region increased by 0.6 percentage points, and the proportion of the volume of express delivery services increased by 1.1 percentage points; the proportion of express delivery service revenue in the western region increased by 0.3 percentage points, and the proportion of the volume of express delivery services increased by 0.6 percentage points.
