ITC Properties (00199) announced its interim performance for the six months ending September 30, 2025. The group achieved a profit of HK$7.042 million, a decrease of 27.38% year-on-year; the attributable loss to owners of the company was HK$121 million, a decrease of 76.07% year-on-year; basic loss per share was HK$0.13.
The announcement stated that due to the continued sluggish property market, especially in commercial real estate, the group continued to incur property valuation losses during the period. This loss was lower than the loss incurred in the same period last year, mainly due to no impairment loss on property inventory confirmed as sales costs during this period, and a decrease in the fair value of investment properties by HK$27 million
(September 30, 2024: HK$45 million). This decrease was partially offset by a fair value loss of HK$71.3 million on a commercial property held by a joint venture company in China
(September 30, 2024: HK$43.9 million) attributable to the group.
