PT INTL DEV (00372) announced that, compared to a loss of approximately 48 million Hong Kong dollars in the same period in 2024, the group expects to incur a loss of no less than approximately 30 million Hong Kong dollars for the six months ending September 30, 2025. This loss is mainly due to the following factors: (i) an increase in the group's gross profit during this period, mainly driven by an increase in stock brokerage business income, leading to a higher gross profit margin for this period; (ii) a decrease in unrealized fair value loss on investment in AFC Mercury Fund during this period compared to the same period in 2024; and (iii) the absence of one-off net income from the comprehensive income of a discontinued subsidiary in this period, while a one-off net income of approximately 16 million Hong Kong dollars from the comprehensive income of a discontinued subsidiary was obtained in the same period in 2024.
