SOMERLEY Capital (08439) expects to achieve a profit after tax of approximately HKD 200,000 in the mid-term, turning a loss into a profit compared to the same period last year.

SOMERLEY CAP (08439) announces that the Group is expected to achieve a profit after tax of approximately HK$200,000 for the six months ending September 30, 2025 (2024: a loss after tax of approximately HK$11.7 million). The improvement in financial performance is mainly attributed to the more active corporate finance market, resulting in an increase in revenue of approximately HK$1.6 million, as well as a reduction in employee benefits costs of approximately HK$7.3 million mainly due to updating the compensation mix.
