CHINA CHENGTONG (00217) announces that on November 13, 2025, Chengtong Financing Leasing (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) has entered into a sale and leaseback agreement with the lessee Xinjiang Huadian Xinte Energy. Chengtong Financing Leasing will purchase leased assets (a number of photovoltaic panels) from the lessee and lease back the assets to the lessee for a period of 2 years, with the option to terminate early according to the terms and conditions of the sale and leaseback agreement.
The sale and leaseback arrangement is part of Chengtong Financing Leasing's general and daily business operations, and it is expected that Chengtong Financing Leasing will earn approximately RMB 730,000 (equivalent to around HK$800,000) in income, namely lease interest from the sale and leaseback arrangement.
