From November 10 to 13, 2025, the Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Wu Qing, visited Paris, France, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to exchange views on the regulatory dynamics of the securities markets in France, the European Union, and Brazil, as well as further deepening and expanding bilateral pragmatic cooperation in the capital markets.
On November 10-13, 2025, China Securities Regulatory Commission Chairman Wu Qing visited Paris, France, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and held bilateral talks with Marie-Anne Barbat-Layani, Chairman of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), and Mr. Otto Lobo, Acting Chairman of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), and Ms. Marina Copola, Commissioner, respectively. They exchanged views on the dynamics of securities market regulation in France, the European Union, and Brazil, and further deepening and expanding bilateral practical cooperation in capital markets. During his visit to France and Brazil, Wu Qing also held discussions with international institutional investors such as the Industrial Bank of France, BNP Paribas, Barclays Bank of the UK, UBS Group, and Pictet Group, as well as representatives of Chinese enterprises and financial institutions operating in France and Brazil, to promote and interpret the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and investment opportunities in the Chinese capital markets, and to solicit opinions and suggestions from international institutional investors and Chinese enterprises on advancing the high-level opening of China's capital markets.
