SUNART RETAIL (06808) announced its interim performance for the six months ending September 30, 2025. The group achieved a revenue of 30.502 billion yuan, a decrease of 12.12% year-on-year; the net loss attributable to equity shareholders was 123 million yuan, compared to a profit of 206 million yuan in the same period last year; the basic loss per share was 0.01 yuan.
The announcement stated that revenue came from the sale of goods, membership fees, and rental income from tenants. For the six months ending September 30, 2025, revenue from the sale of goods decreased by 12.4% year-on-year. This decrease was mainly due to intensified market competition and weak consumption, leading to a decrease in the average number of items purchased per transaction and the average selling price of goods, resulting in a decline in average customer transaction value; and the calendar effect of the overlap of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day.
