On November 10th, the Ministry of Transport announced that in order to implement the consensus reached in the 2025 China-US Kuala Lumpur Economic and Trade Consultation, approved by the State Council, the implementation of the final measures of the 301 investigation on maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding industries towards China by the US will be temporarily suspended from 13:01 on November 10, 2025. The Ministry of Transport will also temporarily suspend the implementation of the "Announcement of the Ministry of Transport on the Collection of Special Port Charges for US Ships" (Ministry of Transport Announcement No. 54 of 2025), the "Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Transport on Issuing the Implementation Measures for the Collection of Special Port Charges for US Ships" (General Office Water [2025] No. 59), and the "Announcement of the Ministry of Transport on Launching an Investigation on the Impact of Supply Chain Security and Development Interests of the Shipping Industry, Shipbuilding Industry, and Related Industry Chains" (Ministry of Transport Announcement No. 55 of 2025) for one year.
