According to data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of Macau, the overall residential property price index for July to September 2025 was 191.6, a decrease of 0.4% compared to the previous period (June to August 2025).
According to data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of Macau, the overall residential building price index for July to September 2025 was 191.6, a decrease of 0.4% from the previous period (June to August 2025). In particular, the Macau Peninsula (188.8) decreased by 0.4%, while the Taipa area (203.5) remained the same as the previous period. The spot residential index (204.8) decreased by 0.9% over the period. When divided by building age, the residential building price index for buildings aged 6 to 10 years and over 20 years decreased by 1.1% and 0.8% respectively, while those aged 11 to 20 years increased by 0.5%. The off-plan index (235.2) increased by 0.7% over the period. Based on unit area statistics, the residential building price index for units with an area of 50 to 74.9 square meters and 75 to 99.9 square meters both decreased by 1.3% compared to the previous period, while those below 50 square meters increased by 0.3%. When divided by building height, the index for buildings with seven floors or less decreased by 2.2%, while those with more than seven floors decreased by 0.5%. Compared to the same period last year, the overall residential building price index decreased by 9.2%, with the Macau Peninsula and Taipa area decreasing by 8.7% and 10.8% respectively. In quarterly statistics, the overall residential building price index for the third quarter of 2025 decreased by 2.3% compared to the previous quarter; within this, the spot residential index decreased by 4.0%, while the off-plan index recorded a quarterly increase of 9.4% due to new properties being launched during the period.
