The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today (November 7th) that Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserves as of the end of October 2025 were $426 billion (compared to $419.1 billion at the end of September 2025). There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at the end of October 2025 (compared to $3 billion at the end of September 2025). The total of $426 billion in foreign exchange reserves is equivalent to more than five times the circulating currency in Hong Kong, or about 37% of the Hong Kong dollar money supply M3.
