Morgan Stanley: DAMAI ENT (01060) exceeds earnings expectations in the first half of the financial year, rating it as "hold".
Daiwa Securities stated that due to the expansion of Da Mai Entertainment's IP, combined with new business measures in product retail, the company is believed to achieve a higher growth rate.
Morgan Stanley released a research report stating that DAMAI ENT (01060) released a profit forecast, estimating that the net profit for the first half of the fiscal year ending in September will exceed 500 million yuan, higher than the bank's forecast of 497 million yuan. Morgan Stanley believes that due to the expansion of DAMAI ENT's IP and new business measures in product retail, the company will have a higher growth rate. The bank predicts that the company's total revenue will increase by 27% year-on-year, with IP business growing by 90% and offline entertainment performance increasing by 13%. The bank also gave the company a "buy" rating with a target price of 1.2 Hong Kong dollars.
