Ant Group upgrades its organizational structure: Establishing a "Healthcare Business Group", strategically positioning AI+ healthcare.

On November 7th, Ant Group CEO Han Xinyi issued a company-wide letter and announced the upgrade of the organizational structure: the original "Digital Healthcare Division" has officially been upgraded to the "Health Business Group", and will accelerate the promotion of medical and health business to become a strategic pillar of Ant Group. Han Xinyi also emphasized the original intention of using technology to solve social problems in the company-wide letter, stating that AI provides a key path for addressing the pain points in social healthcare. Han Xinyi pointed out that since the launch of the independent app in June, the AI health manager AQ user base has been growing rapidly, becoming the first industry AI professional application in China to exceed ten million monthly active users, and rising to 7th place in the China AI native application list; the Ant Medical Large Model has achieved industry-leading levels in various authoritative medical evaluations such as HealthBench and MedBench, and has also set new industry benchmarks in medical imaging and report analysis. It is reported that this is the most critical organizational structure upgrade for Ant Group in recent years, forming a more complete business matrix after adjustment: in addition to Ant International, Ant Digital Technology, and independent operation of OceanBase, Alipay Business Group, Digital Payment Business Group, Wealth Insurance Business Group, Credit Business Group, and the newly established Health Business Group collectively constitute Ant's 5 core business segments. Analysis points out that re-investing in the big health track signifies Ant's exploration of new growth curves, as Ant has now completed its AI strategic layout in the three key areas of life services, financial services, and health services. According to the company-wide letter, Zhang Junjie will serve as the President of the Healthcare Business Group. It is understood that Zhang Junjie joined Ant Group in 2014 and was also one of the first employees of Alipay's medical business, participating in and leading several core businesses such as online registration payments, electronic health insurance codes, and the health manager AQ.
