In terms of news, on November 6th, Yu Minhong confirmed on his personal social media platform that Sun Dongxu had resigned. Public information shows that Sun Dongxu's last appearance in the EAST BUY live broadcast room was at the EAST BUY Tibet special session held on April 19 this year. It is worth noting that in August of this year, there were reports that the former CEO of EAST BUY, Sun Dongxu, might resign. EAST BUY released a statement on its official Weibo account at the time denying the rumors: Teacher Sun Dongxu is on vacation and has not resigned.
It is reported that on December 16, 2023, after the "Small Composition" incident, EAST BUY announced that the Board of Directors of EAST BUY decided that Chairman Yu Minhong would concurrently serve as the CEO of EAST BUY, dismissing Sun Dongxu from his position as Executive Director and CEO of EAST BUY, with immediate effect.
