SAM WOO CONS(03822) announced that it is expected to achieve a profit of not less than HK$40 million for the six-month period ending on September 30, 2025, a significant increase from the profit of HK$3 million for the same period last year. The expected increase in profit is mainly due to (a) the ideal construction efficiency of the Lantau Island project, which contributed most of the revenue and profit for this period; (b) the final settlement of major construction contracts completed many years ago, contributing additional contract revenue and profit for this period; and (c) no impairment losses on trade receivables and retention money were incurred in this period, unlike in the same period last year.
