On the news front, according to a report from the Chinese website of World Agrochemicals Network, during the 8th China International Import Expo on November 5, 2025, SINOFERT Limited signed a memorandum of understanding for the years 2026-2028 with Canadian potash company Canpotex. According to the agreement reached by both parties, during the term of the memorandum, SINOFERT will continue to exclusively import red potash ("Maple Prosperity") from Canpotex for sale in the Chinese market. The renewal of this memorandum will further deepen the strategic cooperation between the two parties, support domestic agricultural production, and have special significance in ensuring stable and efficient supply of potassium fertilizer for direct application by farmers in the southern region.
