HANISON (00896) announced that the group expects to incur a net loss of approximately HK$270-280 million for the six months ending on September 30, 2025, compared to a net loss of approximately HK$193 million in the same period in 2024. The expected net loss is mainly due to the sale of The Connaught (a hotel held by a joint venture) resulting in a loss of approximately HK$182.1 million, as well as higher interest rates and a downturn in the property market, leading to a revaluation net loss of approximately HK$84.6 million on properties held by the group and joint ventures, together with interest expenses of approximately HK$23.8 million.
