Among them, New Year's Day: January 1st (Thursday) to 3rd (Saturday) off for 3 days. January 4th (Sunday) is a working day. Spring Festival: February 15th (Lunar December 28, Sunday) to 23rd (Lunar January 7, Monday) off for 9 days. February 14th (Saturday) and February 28th (Saturday) are working days.

Notice from the General Office of the State Council on the Arrangement of Some Holidays in 2026
To the People's Governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and all ministries and directly affiliated institutions of the State Council:
Upon the approval of the State Council, the specific arrangements for the dates of New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day holidays in 2026 are hereby notified.
1. New Year's Day: January 1st (Thursday) to 3rd (Saturday) off for 3 days. January 4th (Sunday) is a working day.
2. Spring Festival: February 15th (Lunar December 28, Sunday) to 23rd (Lunar January 7, Monday) off for 9 days. February 14th (Saturday) and February 28th (Saturday) are working days.
3. Qingming Festival: April 4th (Saturday) to 6th (Monday) off for 3 days.
4. Labor Day: May 1st (Friday) to 5th (Tuesday) off for 5 days. May 9th (Saturday) is a working day.
5. Dragon Boat Festival: June 19th (Friday) to 21st (Sunday) off for 3 days.
6. Mid-Autumn Festival: September 25th (Friday) to 27th (Sunday) off for 3 days.
7. National Day: October 1st (Thursday) to 7th (Wednesday) off for 7 days. September 20th (Sunday) and October 10th (Saturday) are working days.
Units and individuals are encouraged to combine with the implementation of paid annual leave and other systems to form longer actual holidays, promote staggered travel. During holidays, localities and departments should properly arrange for duty and ensure safety, security, and epidemic prevention work. In the event of a major emergency, it should be reported in a timely manner and properly handled according to regulations to ensure that the people have a peaceful and safe holiday.
