DYNAM JAPAN (06889) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, DAIL, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement with SMBC on October 30, 2025 (Europe time). According to the agreement, SMBC has agreed to sell and DAIL has agreed to purchase and take delivery of the aircraft engine currently leased to Wizz by SMBC under a leasing agreement. Under the sale and purchase agreement, the leasing agreement between SMBC and Wizz will be transferred to DAIL on the delivery date.
The sale and purchase of aircraft and aircraft engines are part of the group's daily business. The directors believe that acquiring this aircraft engine will strengthen the group's asset portfolio. As the aircraft engine is currently leased to Wizz, the leasing arrangement will provide stable returns for the group. In addition, as Wizz is an existing airline customer of the group, the management believes that this acquisition will expand cooperation opportunities with the airline and strengthen long-term relationships, while further enhancing the group's comprehensive asset management capabilities in the aviation value chain.
