RUIFENG RENEW (00527): Ruifeng Energy Storage Station Phase II successfully selected in Hebei pilot project list.

RUIFENG RENEW (00527) announced that the first phase project of the 300MW/1.2GWh grid-side independent energy storage station, invested and constructed by its subsidiary Hebei Ruifeng Yunlian Digital New Energy Co., Ltd. (Ruifeng Yunlian), will start construction in September 2024 and achieve full capacity grid connection on January 22, 2025. The project has already participated in medium to long-term electricity trading and entered the market operation phase. The first phase of the Ruifeng energy storage station project adopts lithium iron phosphate battery storage technology, with a four-hour long-term energy storage system, significantly enhancing the peak shaving, valley filling, and emergency standby capabilities of the northern Hebei power grid. As the first grid-side independent energy storage project to be connected to the northern Hebei power grid, it is currently the largest market-traded grid-side independent energy storage project in North China. After the official operation of the first phase of the Ruifeng energy storage station, it has achieved good economic benefits by participating in the Hebei power trading platform, providing solid support for the expansion and upgrading of the second phase project. On October 21, 2025, the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially issued the "List of Diversified Technology Route Independent Energy Storage Pilot Projects in Hebei Province," aiming to implement the spirit of the national "Special Action Plan for Scale Construction of New Energy Storage (20252027)" and accelerate the diversified and scaled development of new energy storage, effectively enhancing the regulation capacity of the power system. In the announced pilot project list, the 200MW/0.8GWh grid-connected mixed energy storage station project (Ruifeng energy storage station phase II) in Chabei Management Area was successfully selected. The construction of the Ruifeng energy storage station Phase II project is planned to be located in the surrounding area of the Wulan Management Office in Chabei Management Area of Zhangjiakou City, adjacent to the completed site of the first phase project. This site selection fully utilizes the existing power grid infrastructure, with the State Grid's Jiefang 500kV substation nearby, as well as the 220kV boosting station and dedicated transmission lines built by the Ruifeng energy storage station Phase I project, providing convenient conditions for the project's connection.
