In his speech, Wang Jingtai stated that as of September 2025, the number of active IPv6 users in China has reached 865 million, accounting for 77.02% of internet users. The proportion of IPv6 traffic in mobile networks is 69.02%, while in fixed networks it is 30.63%.
On October 29th, the Fourth China IPv6 Innovation and Development Conference was held in Beijing. Wang Jingtao, Vice Director of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China and Vice Director of the National Cyberspace Administration of China, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a speech. In his speech, Wang Jingtao stated that as of September 2025, China has 865 million active IPv6 users, accounting for 77.02% of internet users, with mobile network IPv6 traffic accounting for 69.02% and fixed network IPv6 traffic accounting for 30.63%. The Fourth China IPv6 Innovation and Development Conference was organized by the Expert Committee for Promoting IPv6 Scale Deployment and Application. The conference released the "China IPv6 Development Report (2025)" and held a ceremony for the release of results of the national key cities' special action on IPv6 traffic enhancement and the launch of the second batch of key cities' special actions, as well as a ceremony for the release of results of the "Network goes NAT" special action. The conference was attended by over 500 representatives from government, universities, research institutions, enterprises, and industry associations.
