SINOPEC CORP (00386) announced its performance for the first three quarters of 2025. According to Chinese Accounting Standards, the operating income was 2,134.41 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 29.984 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 32.2%; and the basic earnings per share were 0.247 yuan.
The announcement stated that the decrease in net profit was mainly due to the continuous decline in crude oil and product prices, resulting in reduced profits from inventory, a decrease in domestic sales of gasoline and diesel, as well as a decline in gross profit of aviation fuel, aromatics, and other products.
