CHINA WACAN (01920) announced that on May 19, 2025 (after trading hours), the company entered into a lease agreement with the landlord (Hongville Limited). According to the agreement, the company agreed to rent the property from the landlord for a monthly rent of HKD 332,500, starting from April 16, 2025 for a period of 3 years, to be used as its main business location in Hong Kong.
The property is registered at the Land Registry as Unit 2, 35/F, East Tower, Phase II of Chongqing Group Center, located at Deed Lot No 8286 or the land parcel(s) thereon, with a total floor area of approximately 3,359 square feet.
The company will change its main business location in Hong Kong from Room 9, 2/F, Hang Pong Commercial Centre, 28 Shanghai Street, Jordan, Kowloon (current office) to the above-mentioned property, effective from August 5, 2025. The total floor area of the property is approximately 3,359 square feet, more than 5 times larger than the current office. The Board of Directors believes that entering into the lease agreement to rent the property will allow the company to increase its manpower at its main business location in Hong Kong to accommodate the future business development of the group.
