National Bureau of Statistics: The price of live pigs (Duroc) decreased by 12.1% in mid-October.
According to monitoring of market prices for 50 important production materials in 9 categories in the national circulation field, in mid-October 2025, compared with late September, prices of 17 products have risen, prices of 30 products have fallen, and prices of 3 products have remained unchanged.
The National Bureau of Statistics released the price changes of important production materials in the circulation field in mid-October. According to monitoring of the prices of 50 important production materials in 9 major categories in the circulation field nationwide, in mid-October 2025, compared with late September, prices of 17 products rose, 30 fell, and 3 remained stable. Among them, the price of live pigs (outer three elements) fell by 12.1% compared to the previous month.
