The WATER INDUSTRY (01129) announced that on October 23, 2025, the company's indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary PT Blondo Lestari Energi (PT Blondo) entered into a cooperation agreement with the government of the Sanbolong County in the northern part of Central Java Province, Indonesia. The agreement is related to the implementation, management, and operation of a waste treatment system covering a total land area of 69,688 square meters at the Blondo final disposal site. The waste treatment system will be established at the disposal site, utilizing methane gas as a source of energy for power generation (waste treatment project), in order to improve the quality of public services in the environmental sector, promote economic growth through the development of the waste treatment industry, and address the waste problem in the Sanbolong County. The cooperation agreement aims to integrate the strength of the group with the resources of the Sanbolong County government to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of waste management, and address the waste issues faced by the Sanbolong County government. By utilizing landfill gas as a resource for power generation, the waste treatment project not only effectively addresses local waste management challenges and improves sanitation conditions, but also significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions annually. After the construction and operation of the waste treatment facilities at the disposal site, the waste treatment project is expected to provide stable renewable energy for the Sanbolong County, supporting Indonesia's national emission reduction goals and energy transition, expanding the group's revenue sources, and achieving sustainable business growth. The Board of Directors believes that the cooperation agreement provides a valuable opportunity for both parties to integrate their resources and professional advantages, creating mutually beneficial synergies. The cooperation agreement also marks a solid step for the group in the overseas green development field. This is not only an important milestone for the company to achieve its overseas strategic transformation, but also a significant move in its commitment to green development and promoting Indonesia's government renewable energy transition process.
