Additionally, on the afternoon of October 23, spot gold prices rose and temporarily reached $4130 per ounce, rebounding more than $60 from the daily low. Goldman Sachs maintained their forecast in their latest research report that gold prices could reach $4900 per ounce by the end of 2026. The bank stated that due to the increasing interest in gold as a strategic investment portfolio diversification tool in the market, the risk of gold prices surpassing the $4900 forecast target by the end of 2026 is rising.
