BABA-W (09988) announced that the Quark AI Glasses plan to start pre-sale on e-commerce platforms from midnight on Thursday, with the official price to be announced at a later press conference. It is reported that the Quark AI Glasses will be available for pre-sale on JD.com, Douyin, and Tmall platforms, with deliveries scheduled to begin in December. Previously disclosed information reveals that the Quark AI Glasses will support functions such as phone calls, music, translation, meeting notes, and will utilize a dual-core dual-system, supporting both RTOS and Android systems, as well as a dual-battery removable design to enhance battery life. It will also debut the Supen RAW super low-light enhancement mode. The Quark AI Glasses were officially launched at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) on July 26, 2025. As a culmination of Alibaba's AI capabilities and ecosystem synergy, the Quark AI Glasses will deeply integrate with the Alibaba and Alipay ecosystems, featuring the Thousand Model of Universal Language Questioning and the latest AI capabilities of Quark, as well as support for Gaode Navigation, Alipay Quick Pay, Taobao price comparison, and Fliggy travel reminders. For example, in the navigation scene, the research and development team has collaborated with Gaode maps to develop a near-eye display navigation system adapted for the AI Glasses, enabling precise guidance in mobile scenarios such as cycling and walking. Quark's visual question-answering and office learning capabilities will be natively adapted, transforming the AI Glasses from "listening to music and taking photos" to a true on-the-go AI super assistant. The project leader revealed that in addition to integrating Alibaba's own ecosystem, Quark AI Glasses will also work with leading global eyewear brands to address key user experience bottlenecks through the integration of technology, channels, services, and C2M customization capabilities. Media reports have previously stated that the Quark AI Glasses represent another strategic bet by Alibaba in the field of AI, signaling that its AI to C strategy is extending from the software field to various hardware forms. Market reports suggest that the Quark AI Glasses will be priced at 4699 yuan.
