Market news reported that China's leading unmanned delivery company Neolix has announced the completion of a pre-IPO financing round of over $500 million and has initiated the process for an IPO in Hong Kong. In addition to several existing shareholders, new investors in this round of financing include Tencent, Gaocheng Capital, as well as several national AI funds and Middle Eastern funds. Established in 2018, Neolix is a manufacturer of L4 level unmanned commercial vehicles, focusing on the application of L4 level unmanned driving in logistics scenarios. The company has launched the X3, X6, and X12 models for the urban distribution logistics market, mainly serving the unmanned delivery needs in logistics express delivery, fresh delivery, supermarket delivery, durable warehouse delivery, and instant logistics scenarios, helping customers achieve over 50% cost reduction. The company has independently developed an L4 level autonomous driving system for public road scenarios, equipped with the self-developed 4D One Model perception large model to achieve a driving speed of 50kph on motorways. Neolix's self-developed intelligent hardware and vehicle platform constitute a complete unmanned vehicle product, and the company has completed mass production through the world's first L4 level unmanned vehicle factory. As of December 2024, Neolix has obtained road rights in 93 areas and cities in 11 provinces, with a global cumulative delivery of over 2400 unmanned vehicles, making it the world's largest unmanned delivery fleet. The company has applied for over 1200 patents, ranking among the world's top in terms of technology accumulation. It is reported that on October 14th, Neolix reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the UAE AI technology company K2 Group in Dubai. The two parties will work together to accelerate the application of autonomous driving technology in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, focusing on improving logistics efficiency and building a smart city ecosystem in the Middle East. Of note, in September of this year, Neolix held a ceremony for the delivery of their 10,000th vehicle in Tonglu, Zhejiang. Neolix became the first company in the unmanned delivery industry with a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles, achieving commercial verification in over a hundred cities in China with models such as the X3 and X6.
