Crude oil processing has grown rapidly. In September, the processing of crude oil in industrial enterprises above designated size was 62.69 million tons, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year; the daily average processing was 2.09 million tons. From January to September, the processing of crude oil in industrial enterprises above designated size was 550.81 million tons, an increase of 3.7% year-on-year. The growth rate of natural gas production has accelerated. In September, the production of natural gas in industrial enterprises above designated size was 212 billion cubic meters, an increase of 9.4% year-on-year, an acceleration of growth by 3.5 percentage points compared to August; the daily average production was 7.1 billion cubic meters. From January to September, the production of natural gas in industrial enterprises above designated size was 194.9 billion cubic meters, an increase of 6.4% year-on-year. 2. Electricity production situation The electricity production in industrial enterprises above designated size has steadily increased. In September, the electricity generated by industrial enterprises above designated size was 826.2 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 1.5% year-on-year; the daily average generation was 27.54 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to September, the electricity generated by industrial enterprises above designated size was 72.557 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year. In terms of different types, in September, the electricity generation in industrial enterprises above designated size saw a transition from growth to decline in thermal power and wind power, a transition from decline to growth in hydropower, a slowdown in the growth of nuclear power, and an acceleration in the growth of CECEP Solar Energy generation. Specifically, the thermal power in industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 5.4% year-on-year, compared to an increase of 1.7% in August; hydropower in industrial enterprises above designated size grew by 31.9%, compared to a decline of 10.1% in August; nuclear power in industrial enterprises above designated size grew by 1.6%, a slowdown of 4.3 percentage points compared to August; wind power in industrial enterprises above designated size decreased by 7.6%, compared to an increase of 20.2% in August; and CECEP Solar Energy generation in industrial enterprises above designated size grew by 21.1%, an acceleration of 5.2 percentage points compared to August.
