On June 17, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China issued an announcement initiating an anti-dumping investigation on the relevant pork and pork by-products imported from the European Union. In response to applications from the European Commission and the French Pork Industry Alliance (INAPORC), in order to ensure the fairness, impartiality, and transparency of the investigation process, in accordance with Article 20 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Commerce's Rules on Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty Investigation Hearings, the Ministry of Commerce's Trade Remedies Investigation Bureau decided to hold a hearing on the relevant anti-dumping case of pork and pork by-products at the Ministry of Commerce in the near future.

Notice from the Ministry of Commerce's Trade Remedies Investigation Bureau on the relevant matters of holding a hearing on the anti-dumping case of pork and pork by-products
To all parties concerned:
On June 17, 2024, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China issued an announcement initiating an anti-dumping investigation on the relevant pork and pork by-products imported from the European Union.
In order to ensure the fairness, impartiality, and transparency of the investigation process, in accordance with Article 20 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Commerce's Rules on Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duty Investigation Hearings, the Ministry of Commerce's Trade Remedies Investigation Bureau has decided to hold a hearing on the relevant anti-dumping case of pork and pork by-products at the Ministry of Commerce in the near future. The relevant matters of this hearing are as follows:
1. The content of this hearing will be related to the preliminary determination of dumping, injury, and the causal relationship between the two in this case.
2. Parties wishing to participate in the hearing should complete the "Registration Form for Participation in the Hearing on the Anti-Dumping Case of Pork and Pork By-Products" and upload the form to the "Trade Remedies Investigation Information Platform" by 5:00 pm on October 23, 2025 (Thursday). If a party fails to submit an application within the specified time limit in this notice, the Ministry of Commerce reserves the right to refuse their participation in the hearing and reject the submission of relevant materials.
3. Parties wishing to speak at the hearing should submit a written summary of their speech and relevant evidence materials at the same time as submitting the registration form. The designated language for the hearing will be Chinese.
4. The speaking time for representatives participating in the hearing will be determined by the Ministry of Commerce based on the registration situation.
5. This notice and the registration form will be posted on the Trade Remedies Bureau sub-site of the Ministry of Commerce website of the People's Republic of China. Concerned parties can download them directly.
6. The list of parties participating in the hearing determined after review by the Ministry of Commerce, as well as specific details such as the time and location of the hearing, will be announced on the above-mentioned website.
