As of the time of writing, it has risen 2.31% to 0.255 Hong Kong dollars, with a trading volume of 12.042 million Hong Kong dollars. On the news front, on October 16, IB SETTLEMENT announced that as part of the group's investment in cryptocurrencies and related business development plans, the board of directors has approved a proposal to further acquire Bitcoin within a two-month period starting from the date of this announcement at a time and price deemed appropriate by the directors. The total price to be paid for the potential acquisition shall not exceed 200 million Hong Kong dollars, which is based on the group's financial situation. Previously, on September 24, IB SETTLEMENT's joint venture Keen Golden, in which it holds a 70% stake, acquired a total of 105.88972 Bitcoin on the open market for a total price of 12 million US dollars.
