EB ENVIRONMENT (00257) announced that on October 16, 2025, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Everbright Environmental Protection (China) Limited, has applied to the Bank of China Interbank Market Traders Association to register for the issuance of asset-backed securities with a total issuance size not exceeding RMB 4 billion, subject to the final amount accepted by the traders association. The specific issuance size will be determined by Everbright Environmental Protection (China) within the issuance size range based on its funding needs and market conditions at the time of issuance. The target investors of the asset-backed securities are institutional investors in the national interbank bond market. The asset-backed securities will be issued in one or multiple tranches within a period of two years from the date of issuance of the acceptance registration notice by the traders association.
