GIANT BIOGENE (02367) announced that the Company's Board of Directors has received a notification from the Company's controlling shareholder, Juzi Holding Co., Ltd. Based on strong confidence in the Company's future development, to promote the Company's continued, stable, and healthy growth, and to protect the interests of the general public investors, as of the date of this announcement, Juzi Holding has collectively purchased 760,000 shares of the Company's stock in the market, with a total amount of approximately HK$31.9 million (excluding commissions and other expenses). Following this increase in holdings, as of the date of this announcement, Juzi Holding collectively holds 584 million shares of the Company, representing 54.56% of the total issued shares of the Company. Juzi Holding may further increase its holdings of the Company's shares from time to time based on market conditions and applicable regulatory requirements.
