RUSAL (00486) announced that the Group has entered into a contract with a contact person from En+, who has agreed to supply thermal energy to the Group (additional thermal energy supply contract). The purpose of entering into the additional thermal energy supply contract is to obtain the thermal energy required for the Group's production processes and facilities. Limited Liability Company "Khakass Utility Systems" holds a monopoly on the thermal energy supply in the Sayanogorsk region. The thermal energy tariff is controlled by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Republic of Khakassia. As there are no alternative suppliers in the region, the Company believes that the transactions proposed under the additional thermal energy supply contract will be advantageous for the Company.
