LB Group Co., Ltd. (002601.SZ) announced that its holding subsidiary, Yunnan Metallurgy Xinli Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yunnan Xinli"), recently received a "Case Acceptance Notice" issued by the Yunnan Provincial High People's Court. In the case of infringement of technical secrets, Yunnan Xinli, as one of the joint plaintiffs in the civil litigation, filed a lawsuit with the Yunnan Provincial High People's Court, which has accepted the case. In this case, the related technical secrets that were infringed upon are the construction process and production technology of a large-scale titanium dioxide production line introduced and strictly kept secret by Yunnan Xinli. From 2007 to 2019, the defendants Liu Jianliang, Jiang Shuan, Zhao Zequan, and others have successively held important leadership positions and main technical positions at Yunnan Xinli. Jiang Shuan and Zhao Zequan joined a related company of Hebei Yange Steel in the second half of 2019 and used the plaintiff's technical secrets and other information to provide relevant services for the planning, design, construction, etc. of their company's titanium dioxide production line, until the case was discovered. The total amount involved in the case is 1.311 billion yuan.
