On October 14th, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates generally rose, with overnight rates at 3.56393%, down 3.178 basis points. The one-week interbank interest rates increased by 6.16 basis points to 3.48577%, while the two-week rates increased by 6.256 basis points to 3.48577%. The one-month interbank interest rates, related to mortgage loans, reported at 3.50423%, an increase of 6.399 basis points, ending a four-week decline. Reflecting the cost of bank funds, the three-month interbank interest rates reported at 3.57226%, an increase of 4.905 basis points.
On the longer term side, the six-month interbank interest rates rose by 3.714 basis points to 3.43714%, while the one-year rates increased by 3.905 basis points to 3.36536%.
