The peak of daily entries and exits occurred on October 4th, reaching 2.353 million people. Among them, mainland residents had 9.165 million entries and exits, an increase of 9.6% compared to the same period last year; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan residents had 5.744 million entries and exits, an increase of 12.2% compared to the same period last year; foreigners had 1.434 million entries and exits, an increase of 21.6% compared to the same period last year; 751,000 foreigners entered the country, with 535,000 entering under visa exemption policies, an increase of 19.8% and 46.8% respectively compared to the same period last year. A total of 744,000 international transportation vehicles (ships, trains, and vehicles) were inspected, an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year.
