According to statistics from the branch of Midland Realty, the number of appointments to view show flats in 15 selected housing estates during the first weekend of October (October 4-5) recorded approximately 537 groups, an increase of about 1.7% from the previous weekend's 528 groups.
Bill Mok, Executive Director of the Residential Department of Midland Realty, said that as we enter the fourth quarter, the property market is expected to continue to improve. With the beginning of the interest rate cut cycle, purchasing power is expected to further increase. Several new developments are expected to enter the market in October, making the new property market more lively and attracting buyers. However, there are no major new property launches this weekend, so the focus will be on the secondary market. Additionally, some residents and families are busy celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival this weekend, which may hinder activities in the second-hand property market. Nevertheless, the number of appointments to view second-hand properties remains active, showing a slight increase from the previous week.
