According to Zhishiqi consulting data, Lantu Automotive is the most comprehensive high-end new energy vehicle enterprise in terms of product matrix, with products covering the three major sub-markets of sedan, SUV, and MPV.
According to the disclosure by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 2, LanTu Auto Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "LanTu Auto") has submitted an application for listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with CICC as its exclusive sponsor. According to the prospectus, LanTu Auto is a high-end intelligent new energy brand under Dongfeng Company. The prospectus shows that LanTu Auto's target audience is positioned as a solid force in the new era, with products mainly covering the price range of RMB 200,000 to RMB 500,000. LanTu Auto began delivering its first model, LanTu FREE, in August 2021, with the 100,000th vehicle offline in April 2024 and the 200,000th vehicle offline in April 2025. According to Zhaoshi Consulting, LanTu Auto is the first state-owned enterprise in China to achieve 200,000 vehicles offline for high-end new energy vehicles. LanTu Auto's sales volume ranks among the top in the Chinese high-end new energy vehicle industry. According to Zhaoshi Consulting, LanTu Auto's sales volume had a compound annual growth rate of 103.2% from 2022 to 2024, making it the third fastest-growing high-end new energy vehicle brand in China. According to Zhaoshi Consulting's data, LanTu Auto has the most comprehensive product matrix among high-end new energy vehicle companies, with products covering sedans, SUVs, and MPVs in three major sub-markets, continuously meeting the differentiated needs of target users in various application scenarios. Since its establishment, LanTu Auto has successfully launched four model series, namely the mid-to-large SUV LanTu FREE series, the MPV LanTu Dreamer series, the mid-to-large sedan LanTu Chasing Light series, and the mid-size SUV LanTu Sounding series. During the historical period, LanTu Auto achieved outstanding sales performance. In the seven-month periods ending in 2022, 2023, 2024, and July 31, 2025, LanTu Auto sold 19,409, 50,285, 80,116, and 66,680 vehicles respectively. In terms of new energy MPVs, LanTu Auto's Dreamer is the world's first high-end new energy MPV. According to Zhaoshi Consulting, the Dreamer MPV model by LanTu Auto achieved sales of 47,000 units in 2024, ranking second in new energy MPV sales. Calculated by quarterly compound growth rate, from the third quarter of 2024 to the second quarter of 2025, LanTu Auto's high-end new energy MPV sales growth rate reached 21.3%, ranking first in the market. The Dreamer by LanTu Auto is positioned as the "flagship MPV of the new era," being the first MPV to be equipped with 800V intelligent super hybrid technology and also the first MPV to feature Huawei's Han Kun intelligent driving ADS 4 and Harmony OS cockpit 5, integrating the luxury space of an MPV, SUV's passability and safety, and the comfort of an executive sedan into one. Financially, LanTu Auto achieved revenues of approximately RMB 6.052 billion, RMB 12.749 billion, RMB 19.361 billion, and RMB 15.781 billion in the seven months ending in 2022, 2023, 2024, and July 31, 2025 respectively. Adjusted net losses (non-IFRS) decreased by 4.5% from RMB 1.525 billion in 2022 to approximately RMB 1.457 billion in 2023, and further decreased by 98.3% to RMB 24.622 million in 2024. LanTu Auto recorded an adjusted net loss of RMB 542 million in the seven months ending on July 31, 2024, which then turned into an adjusted net profit of approximately RMB 479 million in the seven months ending on July 31, 2025.
