Zhaojin Mining (01818) intends to invest $30 million to subscribe for cornerstone shares of Zijin International.

ZHAOJIN MINING (01818) announced that on September 17, 2025, Spicco International Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of the company as an investor) entered into a cornerstone investment agreement with Zijin International (as the issuer), Morgan Stanley, CITIC SEC and CICC. According to this agreement, the investor conditionally agrees to subscribe for investor shares at the offer price, as part of the international offering. The investment amount for these investor shares is expected to be the equivalent of HK$30 million in US dollars. Zijin International is an international platform under Zijin Mining Group that focuses on gold mining, smelting, and sales. It is an important participant in the global gold mining industry. The company believes that the cornerstone investment can further deepen the strategic cooperation relationship between the company and Zijin Mining Group, which is advantageous for maintaining growth and bringing long-term returns to the shareholders.
