IFBH(06603) announced that on September 18, 2025, the wholly-owned subsidiary IFB Singapore of the company entered into a foreign exchange contract with Citibank to hedge the currency risk of Singaporean dollars/Thai baht/US dollars. Accordingly, after internal approval from Citibank, IFB Singapore can enter into foreign exchange transactions with Citibank for a nominal amount of up to USD 10 million as of the date of this announcement.
The functional currency of the group's trading entity IFB Singapore is the US dollar. The group faces transactional currency risk when selling or purchasing goods in currencies other than their respective functional currencies. These transactions are primarily denominated in Thai baht. The foreign exchange contract allows the group to manage the currency risk arising from the operations of IFB Singapore.
