Broadcom has expanded its collaboration with Lloyd's Bank to help accelerate the financial company's digital transformation.
Broadcom Inc. (AVGO.US) has expanded its partnership with Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR (LYG.US) to help the financial company accelerate its digital transformation. Under the agreement, Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR will utilize more of Broadcom Inc.'s infrastructure software portfolio, including VMware Cloud Foundation and Host Solutions.
Broadcom Inc. executive Luigi Freguia stated in a declaration, "With VMware now included in our existing infrastructure software portfolio (which includes our Host Solutions), Broadcom Inc.'s strategic partnership with Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR has been strengthened. This advances our goal of empowering Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR to transform its infrastructure and solidify its position as the leading digital bank in the UK."
This collaboration is expected to enable Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR to provide faster and more reliable digital services to its 28 million customers and businesses in the UK. Lloyds Banking Group plc Sponsored ADR Chief Operating Officer Ron van Kemenade said, "Upgrading our infrastructure allows us to continue providing fast, reliable digital banking services to our customers, whether they are making payments, applying for loans, or checking balances. This means our customers can access top-notch service today, while also having a platform that can easily expand and support future new products and innovations."
