Top companies need to shoulder the responsibility of "taking the lead" in technology breakthroughs, focusing on key areas such as chips, and collaborating with universities and research institutions to create innovative alliances. This will accelerate the development of independently controllable security chips to break monopolies, and help small and medium-sized enterprises enhance their security capabilities through "passing on knowledge". Industry associations should play the role of "bridge link" by optimizing collaborative communication mechanisms through building a network security talent pool and establishing "threat intelligence sharing".
On September 15, 2025, the National Cybersecurity Publicity Week Cybersecurity Entrepreneurs Symposium was held at the Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Center in Kunming. The meeting was chaired by Yang Jianwen, Deputy Director of the Cyberspace Administration of China and Deputy Director of the National Cyberspace Administration. Yang Jianwen pointed out that currently, with the deep integration of digital economy and real economy, the demand for cybersecurity is accelerating its transformation from "compliance-driven" to "risk-driven". This is not only the core direction of industry development, but also the inevitable choice to deal with complex online environments, requiring "triple collaboration, joint efforts". Industry regulatory authorities should provide "substantial" support for industrial transformation, provide better policy environment for internet companies, promote high-quality development of the industry, encourage companies to participate in standard setting. Leading companies need to take on the responsibility of "neck-and-neck" technological breakthroughs, focus on key areas such as chips, join hands with universities and research institutes to create innovation consortiums, accelerate the research and development of independent and controllable security chips to break through monopolies, and help small and medium-sized enterprises improve their security capabilities through "mentoring". Industry associations should play the role of "bridge ties", optimize collaborative communication mechanisms through the construction of a cybersecurity talent pool, and the establishment of "threat intelligence sharing".
