China Shenhua Energy (01088) announced that in August 2025, the production of commercial coal was 28.6 million tons, a decrease of 0.3% year-on-year; coal sales volume was 37.5 million tons, a decrease of 3.1% year-on-year. From January to August, the production of commercial coal was 223 million tons, a decrease of 0.5% year-on-year; coal sales volume was 280 million tons, a decrease of 9.2% year-on-year. In August 2025, the total electricity generation was 233.9 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 3.8% year-on-year; total electricity sales were 219.7 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year. From January to August, the total electricity generation was 1441.2 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 3.8% year-on-year; total electricity sales were 1354.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of 3.8% year-on-year.
