Of these, 25.53 million were visitors from mainland China, while 7.65 million were non-mainland visitors, with year-on-year growth rates of 11% and 16% respectively.
In the first 8 months, the number of visitors from short-haul source markets increased by 18% year-on-year, with China Taiwan Province, South Korea, and Japan performing well. The number of visitors from long-haul markets increased by 19%, with Australia showing the best performance.
