CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) announced that in August 2025, the group's passenger traffic capacity (measured in available seat kilometers) increased by 6.37% year-on-year. The increase was 4.89% for domestic flights, 3.43% for regional flights, and 11.35% for international flights. Passenger traffic volume (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) increased by 5.97% year-on-year. The increase was 4.93% for domestic flights, 6.04% for regional flights, and 9.40% for international flights. The passenger load factor was 86.99%, a decrease of 0.32 percentage points compared to the previous year. The load factor increased by 0.04 and 2.07 percentage points for domestic and regional flights respectively, but decreased by 1.52 percentage points for international flights. Regarding cargo transportation, in August 2025 the group's cargo traffic capacity (measured in available ton kilometers for freight and mail) increased by 0.90% year-on-year. Cargo and mail traffic volume (measured in revenue ton kilometers for freight and mail) increased by 5.48% year-on-year. The cargo and mail load factor was 50.83%, an increase of 2.21 percentage points compared to the previous year. In August 2025, the group did not introduce any major new routes. In August 2025, the group introduced 7 new aircraft (including 2 A321NEO aircraft, 2 A320NEO aircraft, 2 B737-8 aircraft, and 1 B787-9 aircraft) and retired 5 aircraft (including 1 A319 aircraft, 1 A321 aircraft, 1 A330-200 aircraft, and 2 B737-800 aircraft). By the end of August 2025, the group operated a total of 952 transport aircraft.
