Meituan's international business in the Middle East is accelerating again, and Keeta launches in Kuwait.
In Kuwait, Keeta has supported delivery services for several brands, such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Burger King, and Starbucks.
On the morning of September 15th local time, the international delivery brand Keeta, under the ownership of Meituan, officially launched its operations in Kuwait, becoming its third stop in the Gulf region after Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
In Kuwait, Keeta already supports delivery services for many brands including McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, and more.
As a key member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Kuwait has a high per capita GDP, high penetration rate of online food delivery, and strong consumer demand for high-quality delivery services. The market is vibrant and has huge potential, which is why Keeta chose it as an important new expansion point.
In addition to leveraging Meituan's leading operational experience in the Chinese delivery market, Keeta plans to continue expanding high-quality supply locally and innovate its products, providing consumers with convenient and reliable delivery services, diverse product choices, and affordable prices. At the same time, it is committed to promoting the common development of merchants, delivery riders, and other partners, driving the digitization transformation and ecosystem maturity of the local catering industry.
Since entering Saudi Arabia in the Middle East in September 2024, Keeta's user base and order volume have grown rapidly. Building on the successful landing and progress in Saudi Arabia over the past year, Keeta has further accelerated its expansion pace in the Middle East. In August this year, Keeta launched in Qatar, and in less than a month, it has officially entered Kuwait, as Meituan accelerates the development of an international "multinational linkage" model.
In the future, Keeta will continue to deepen its presence in the Middle East and actively explore more overseas markets.
